Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About the Role
As an RBT, you will implement behavioral treatment and instructional plans using ABA principles in home, clinic, and community settings. You will work under the guidance of your assigned supervisors, including BCBAs, and report to our Clinical Supervisors.
What You Will Do
- Run programs and collect data on self-help skills, behavior management, social skills, and academics using our behavior-tracking program
- Follow treatment plans as outlined by your supervisors
- Help develop new materials when needed
- Help maintain OG Behavior facilities when applicable
- Attend ongoing in-house trainings and team meetings for your professional development
- Write timely, quality session notes on our digital platform
- Collect caregiver signatures digitally (or on paper when needed)
- Clock in and out on time using our time app and follow our time-off policies
- Keep all required credentials and certifications current
- Report directly to your clients’ supervisors
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification
- Afternoon and evening availability
- A current driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
This role is rated as moderate work. It occasionally involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and you must be able to physically block, prompt, redirect, and safely restrain clients when a behavior plan calls for it.
